Biography
Susan (How) Beattie, a proud Maritimer from Nova Scotia, moved to Ottawa, Ontario in 1987. Sue studied at University and College majoring in French. Family and children took up many of the years in the '90s and 2000s, while also working part time in the school system. During a recent relocation to South Africa, Sue studied Broadcasting following a long held desire to make a career out of her love for the spoken word. While in Johannesburg, Sue spent many pleasant months working as a volunteer with Tape Aids For The Blind, doing voice-over and editing work for this well-respected organization.
Back in Canada now, Sue has set up a Sound Studio at home and Voice-over work is coming in.
Recent Projects include - commercials heard on CHUM radio stations and work done for the Muséoparc Vanier Muséoparc, Voice for a local Documentary ‘The City That Fun Forgot’, various animation roles, narrative for TV series ‘Reflections’ and work for the NCC.
